Portland Oregon Tree Service
Multnomah Tree Experts, Ltd. is a specialty tree company serving residential, commercial and municipal customers in the Greater Portland area. The company was founded in 1991 as a small tree service company, incorporating in 2002 as Multnomah Tree Experts, Ltd.
We are a specialty company, concentrating on tree pruning, preservation, and tree removal. We do not apply pesticides, and we leave lawn work, landscape construction and irrigation work to others.
Arborists on Staff
We presently have two full time ISA Certified Arborists on staff.
- Peter Torres is a Board Certified Master Arborist (PN-0650B)
- Ryan Neumann is an ISA Certified Arborist (PN-5539A)
- All of our tree pruning and tree removal jobs are supervised by one of these two professional arborists.
Peter Torres
Peter first became a certified arborist in 1979. In the early 1990s he recognized a need for managing the remnant forest and attended OSU Forest Science Department.
He earned a Master of Forestry degree in 1997 in the field of forest pathology, with root diseases of native conifers his specialty. He is a Registered Consulting Arborist with ASCA (RCA #372) and a Certified Tree Risk Assessor (N0. 320).
Ryan Neumann
Ryan Neumann has been an arborist since 1991 when he was trained by his father in Ventura, California. He graduated from Reed College and decided to make Portland his home.
Our High Ranger aerial lift facilitates tree work, especially when working with trees that have hazardous defects. We are happy to help other tree service firms with our special equipment and experience. Our 15-inch brusher chipper makes short work of recycling tree debris.
